Senior & Junior technician- Duncan

Senior -Minimum 5 years experience in all agriculture and farm related equipment or Heavy Duty equipment. Electrical & Hydraulic experience is an assset. Valid Driver's License. Must be capable of meeting physical demands (ability to lift 75lbs+ repeatedly).
Candidates must have good communication skills (written & oral) and work effectively with customers and the service team.  Training provided on an ongoing basis. References required but privacy assured. Wage will be dependent on experience, benefit package available after 3 months probationary period.
Full time, monday to friday. Wage: $34-$44 per hour. Additional Pay: Bonus Pay, Overtime.  Benefits: Casual Dress, Company Events, Dental Care, Disability Inurance, Extended Healthcare, On-site parking, Store Discount, Vision Care

Junior- Strong Mechanical ability, previous experience in Agricultural or Heavy Duty Equipment. Trade certificate is an asset but not required. Candidate must have valid driver's license, the ability to work along side other's and independently.
Wage dependent on experience. 

Parts technicians- Courtenay & Duncan

The ideal candidate would have excellent organizational skills with a high degree of initiative and flexibility. Strong interpersonal skills, experience in agricultral equipment and parts sales experience would be an asset. AGRICULTURAL EQUIPMENT SALES PERSON- DUNCAN & COURTENAY

SUMMARY

Island Tractor & Supply is a full-service dealership specializing in agriculture, commercial, light industrial, and compact construction equipment. We are the exclusive dealership for Kubota products on Vancouver Island and we are also authorized to sell and service over a dozen equipment manufacturers and whole goods lines. Island Tractor proudly offers full sales and service at locations in Duncan and Courtenay.
Reporting to the General Manager, the Outside Agricultural Equipment Sales Associate is responsible for fostering relationships to sell equipment throughout Vancouver Island, while increasing market share and promoting Island Tractor & Supply products and services to potential and existing customers.
This is a full-time position (Monday to Friday 8am – 5pm), that may require some evening or weekend work. This role involves extensive travel throughout Vancouver Island and may require travel for training.

PREFERRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• A related bachelor’s or diploma (or other transferable education) is preferred.
• At least three years sales experience with preference to those who can demonstrate increasing growth in developing sales territory.
• Competitive, self-starter, who is disciplined, customer experience focused, and goal oriented.
• Strong communication skills (oral and written) and ability to work effectively with customers, the service team, external contractors, and other company personnel.
• Excellent organizational skills with a high degree of initiative and flexibility.
• Familiarity with current farming practices and local agricultural equipment/farming communities.
• Must have a clean and valid BC Class 5 driver's license.

COMPENSATION STRUCTURE

• Sales personnel compensation includes a monthly base salary, commission on sales, and sales incentives provided by product companies.
